Machine Operators - 2nd & 3rd Shifts - IMMEDIATE OPENINGS
National manufacturing company with a plant in Wentzville, MO has openings for several Machine Operators. These are direct hire opportunities - IMMEDIATE OPENINGS! The position will be responsible for running machinery, using a forklift to pull material and getting products ready for shipment. The shifts are 10 hour shifts - Monday through Friday. Overtime is paid after 40 hours. The openings will be 2nd or 3rd shifts. There is also Saturday work once a month and quarterly, may require several Saturday hours. Excellent benefit package will be provided.
The ideal candidate:
1. 2
years experience in manufacturing
2. Forklift experience
3. Strong math skills - ability to measure accurately
4. Mechanical ability
5. Ability to multi-task
6. Experience in working in a fast-paced production environment
7. Strong work ethic - attendance is crucial!
8. High school diploma or equivalent
Duties of this position will include:
1. Follow specifications of order, pull and process material
2. Operate plate saws, billet saws, shears and cut to length
3. Complete order paperwork
4. Operate forklift and other machinery as directed
5. Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions
6. Responsible for general maintenance of warehouse
7. Assist in physical inventories
