30 an hour The City of Wentzville is seeking candidates interested in joining our Parks and Recreation team.

Come grow with us! The Guest Services Attendant serves as a front-line customer service representative for the Parks and Recreation facilities, providing courteous, professional, and positive service in all interactions with patrons and staff.
Relays information for certain activities or events and assists patrons with registrations, memberships, and facility rentals.

This is a part-time position, not to exceed an average of 29 hours per week.

Job Qualifications Education, experience, and training that are required or desirable in order to effectively perform the job at the time of hire.
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Additional requirements and/or substitutions may be requested and require the approval of HR.
Prior relevant experience desired.
CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required within 90 days of the hire date.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with supervisors, co-workers, and customers by telephone, in writing, and in person.
Ability to use good judgment and think rationally in difficult or stressful situations.
Ability to develop goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work, as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in the use of basic business software (word processing, spreadsheets, email, presentations) and basic office equipment.
Ability to work under direct supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.
Regular attendance is a necessary and essential job duty.
Job requires being reliable, responsible and dependable.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
