Therapist/Individual Resiliency Trainer

The Therapist/Individual Resiliency Trainer (IRT) is part of the person-centered integrated team and provides direct and indirect services to persons experiencing First Episode Psychosis (FEP)Clinician will help individuals identify and work towards their goals, teaching strategies and skills to build resiliency in coping with psychosisESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSo Provide individual and group psychotherapy for persons served in the community and officeo Stay informed on FEP best practices, attend relevant and required trainings provided through Department of Mental Health (DMH), Missouri Institute of Mental Health and (MIMH), Missouri Behavioral Health Council (MBHC).
o Promote recovery by identifying individuals' strengths and resiliency factors, enhancing illness management, teaching skills, and facilitate functional recovery (and to achieve and maintain personal wellness).
o Provide triage services to persons who present during open access hours, as neededo Assessing appropriateness/readiness of referrals for counselingo Function as part of a trans-disciplinary team.
o Maintain client records, following agency and state regulations including knowledge of utilization management criteriao Maintain agreed upon level of customer care requirementso Will provide culturally competent services to meet the unique cultural needs of each agency consumer and family membero Complete wellness plans with persons servedo Be knowledgeable of other human/social services for purposes of referral if the agency is unable to provide a particular service and maintain documentation of such referralso Interface with other human/social services to provide holistic services to persons servedo Provide on-call crisis intervention covering evening, night and weekend hours on a rotating scheduleo Provide licensure supervision, if applicableo Participate in daily team meetingso Other duties as assigned by supervisorMaster's degree in counseling, psychology or social work as recognized by the US Department of Education required WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSo Working knowledge of DSM-5o Valid MO driver's license required LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
