Our work environment includes:
Modern office setting Relaxed atmosphere Regular social events On-the-job training Duties - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures - Take dental x-rays - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Educate patients on proper post op instructions Skills - Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of dental procedures - Experience with medical imaging techniques, such as x-rays - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality - Strong skills in medical documentation and record keeping - Experience with dental practice management software - Knowledge of infection control protocols and ability to maintain a clean and safe environment - Ability to take and record vital signs accurately Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and skills.
