Responsibilities Product knowledge expert that understands, manufacturing processes, and customer requirements of the product/s being represented.
If the customer experiences interruptions or non-conforming product, the liaison will participate in the Piston Automotive escalation process, along with collecting information on the event.
Data collection, organizing and reporting data that provides information to Piston Automotive to aid in problem solving activities.
Direct interaction with customer, supplier quality and production, etc.
to understand and navigate through issues and concerns, while developing a trusting relationship between supplier and customer.
Utilizes a problem-solving approach to non-conforming product issues, logistical issues, communication concerns, etc.
This includes working directly with supplier and customer resources to help determine root causes, corrective actions, and implementation of improvements.
Organize and manage any necessary containment activities that assures the supplier protects the customer from any non-conforming products reaching their production, including identifying and maintaining clean points.
Strong focus on customer satisfaction relating to product quality, supply timeliness, reaction times, communication, improvements and overall management of activities related to maintaining trust between the supplier and the customer.
Strong advocate and representative that makes sure the customer's needs, concerns and success are a priority.
Develop and maintain excellent communication both verbally and written, that creates alignment between customer and supplier, along with assuring accuracy of information flow.
Qualifications High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Automotive manufacturing knowledge required.
2 - 5 years of similar experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred Computer skills Excellent written and oral skills Ability to learn and understand processes within Piston Automotive and our Customer Dependability Job Type:
